WOW! Conference

The WOW! Community and Voluntary Action in Warrington Conference has been held annually for the past nine years in the summer.

The WOW! Conference celebrates the achievements and work of the voluntary sector in Warrington. It is always a great day with something for everybody.

This years WOW! took place on Wednesday 16th July 2008.

The conference was booked up in record time this year. Ninety delegates enjoyed a range of workshops from Therapeutic Drumming and Tai Chi, to Fundraising and Braintraining. Delegates heard from a range of community groups and organisations about their successes and enjoyed a range of tea party themed food throughout the day.

CVS staff entered into the spirit of the 'Down the rabbit Hole' theme and dressed up as characters from the Alice in Wonderland story.

The day was fantastic and we are all looking forward to WOW! 2009 already.

Below are some pictures of the day.
