What We Are
The Organisation
Warrington CVS is a membership organisation. Our members are local community and voluntary groups and membership is open to all groups in the local authority district of Warrington that support the aims of Warrington CVS.
Membership is for a period of five years. At the end of this period you will be contacted to ask if you would like to renew your membership. Membership is free, but as the CVS is a Company Limited by Guarantee, in the event of the company being wound up each member may have to pay an amount not exceeding £1.
A Board of Directors is elected from this membership to govern the CVS. The Board are also helped by an Advisory Group. The day to day activities of CVS are carried out by a team of paid staff.

Becoming a member of Warrington CVS gives you a say in how the CVS develops. As a member of CVS, each organisation receives :
- A certificate of Membership
- A copy of the Annual Review and an invitation to the AGM
- The opportunity to be elected to the Board of Directors
- Access to reduced priced training courses for Members
- Information and advice on all aspects of the voluntary sector
