Targeted Support Fund : Real Help for Communities
The Targeted Support Fund is for local organisations who are registered charities and/or social enterprises, who have a turnover of between £30k and £250k.
The fund launches on 4th May 2009 and is aimed at providing financial help to third sector organisations who have found that their existing services are being stretched due to the downturn in the economic climate.
Applicants can claim grants of between £10k and £40k and once allocated, the grant has to be spent by 31st March 2010.
The closing date for applications is June 29th 2009 and all applications must be sent to Warrington CVS with all relevant supporting documentation.
If you feel that your organisation fits the criteria then you must be able to outline and explain the increase in demand for your organisations services.
Organisations must be providing key, recession focussed services under one of the themes below:
• Information, advice and guidance (housing, financial, debt and legal advice and support)
• Employment and employability (training and support related to finding employment).
• Health and wellbeing (mental health, relationship breakdown, counselling, domestic violence & substance abuse)
