The Aim of the Training Project
The Training Project offers training, learning opportunities and support to local community, voluntary and faith groups to help them be effective – to do what they want to do as well as they can and want to.
Who can use the Training Project?
Anyone involved in a community, voluntary or faith group, whether as paid workers, volunteers or committee members. Training is designed to help participants develop the skills, confidence and knowledge they need in their role.

What do we offer?
Training courses and workshops
We hold half-day or full-day sessions on topics of interest to a range of groups. Courses in the last 12 months have included: Dealing with Difficult Behaviour, Introduction to Counselling Skills, Time Management, Emergency First Aid, Digital Photography, and Child Bereavement.
Customised training for individual groups.
We can work with your group on training that you need. This could be delivering training on a specific topic or facilitating a team-building event or a workshop on developing an action plan.

Training News comes out in February, May, August and November, as part of the Contact magazine. This gives information on up and coming training organised by Warrington CVS, but also information on other relevant training opportunities locally.
