The Aim of the Training Project
The Training Project offers training, learning opportunities and support to local community, voluntary and faith groups to help them be effective – to do what they want to do as well as they can and want to.
Who can use the Training Project?
Anyone involved in a community, voluntary or faith group, whether as paid workers, volunteers or committee members. Training is designed to help participants develop the skills, confidence and knowledge they need in their role.

What do we offer?
Training courses and workshops
We hold half-day or full-day learning opportunities, some of which are taster sessions leading to longer or accredited courses. Others are short courses such as First Aid for the Appointed Person, Dealing with Difficult Behaviour, Positive Listening Skills, Time Management, Social Enterprise and Entrepreneurial ship and Food Hygiene.
Customised training for individual groups.
We can work with your group to provide training that you need. This could be organising training on a specific topic, facilitating a team-building event or devising a workshop session around, for example, developing an action plan.

The Training News insert comes out in February, May, August and November, as part of the Contact magazine. This gives information on up and coming training organised by Warrington CVS, but also details other local, relevant training opportunities.
