Skills for Life Tutor Temporary
37 hours per week Grade: Grade 8 - £24,331 - £28,270 per annum
Community Wellbeing based in Crewe
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly qualified and experienced teacher of adults to take on a delivery and development role within the Move On Cheshire Skills for Life team. Currently, we are part of the Lifelong Learning Service of Cheshire County Council. You will be based in the new East Cheshire Council and will be working mainly with employers to provide Skills for Life programmes in work based settings.
Our excellent achievement rate ensures that we have high levels of employer satisfaction. You will have both a teaching qualification and hold a Level 4/5 Adult Literacy Subject Specialist qualification. You will have experience of teaching Adult Literacy from Entry Level to Level 2.
You will also have a track record of innovative and creative teaching strategies which will enhance our team’s performance further. Our delivery methods have been nationally recognised and you will be expected to maintain our high standards. The appointment is to cover a maternity leave and will be initially for 12 months.
