Liverpool Half Marathon
Date: Sunday 28 March 2010
Location: Liverpool Distance: Half marathon (13.1 miles)
Registration fee: £27 (£25 for UKA-affiliated runners)
Now in its 16th year, this event is Merseyside's leading road race.
Starting and finishing on the famous River Mersey waterfront alongside the new Liverpool Arena, the route passes many of the iconic landmarks in the city and is generally flat apart from one incline after the first mile.

BUPA Great Manchester Run – Business Challenge

The Bupa Great Manchester Run’s Business Challenge is now a well established event, with many local businesses entering one or more teams. The Business Challenge is available for staff of Fairview Windows to enter, teams can be made up of family and friends, if desired. Teams are made up with a minimum of four to a maximum of eight people. London to Paris Cycle Ride

Come and join us on the London to Paris bike ride, an amazing charity challenge starting from the UK's capital, through the English countryside over to rural France and on to the heart of Paris, finishing under the Eiffel Tower!

Merseys Tunnel Ventilation Shaft Abseil (50m) - Sunday 23rd May 2010
The 50m Mersey Tunnels Ventilation Shaft located in Birkenhead provides an exhilarating abseil with fantastic views across the River Mersey. Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge - Saturday 12th June 2010

Working in partnership with Eight Point Two, The Fairview Foundation are delighted to offer this challenge to individuals who want to undertake the challenge of completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks.
Eight Point Two offers a fully supported event and a high level of safety and service both prior to the event and during it. Eight Point Two has a great deal of knowledge in providing this kind of service with many of its key staff holding senior mountaineering and walking qualifications such as the Mountain Instructor Certificate – the highest instructional qualification in the UK.
Our Yorkshire Three Peaks event is an opportunity for you to take part in a fully supported attempt on the challenge with the knowledge that they have an exceptional level of support.

English Half Marathon Fun Run - Saturday 2nd October 2010
Have you received a Grassroots Grant? Do you want to see the scheme continue? Then why not get involved with the English Half Marathon Fun Run from 10.00am onwards on the Saturday, with the fun run just over 1mile – everyone can take part. English Half Marathon - Sunday 3rd October 2010 - Golden Square's Retailers' Challenge
In partnership with The Golden Square Shopping Centre and Big-Q Events, we have formed the Retailers Challenge with over 120 outlets at the Shopping Centre, we are asking for teams of 2 to take part in the New Balance English Half Marathon as a relay race completing 6.1 miles rather than the full 13 with all money raised going towards the Warrington Grassroots Endowment Challenge.
