Blue for Boys

This is a three hour training opportunity introducing equalities issues and looking at gender stereotypes and their relevance today.

This equal opportunities workshop will identify words and phrases that are used to differentiate boys/men and girls/women; identify differences between ‘sex’ and ‘gender’; explore and clarify concepts of ‘gender’ and introduce statistics to identify gender inequalities. This will enable the group to then discuss measures that can be taken to redress gender imbalances.
