The Clara Westgarth Trust offers grants to be used to support the elderly in the Borough of Warrington.
Under the terms of the trust, grants can be made to individual applicants only when supported by an organisation such a social services, Age Concern, etc, who are in touch with the client. The criterion for the grant is that it shall generally be used for either household or personal items in order to improve the quality of life for the recipient.
Grants will be considered for applicants aged 60 or over, and the maximum grant that can be made is £500.
If through your work, or involvement with a voluntary organisation, you know of an elderly person in need who may benefit from such a grant, please let us know by completing an application form on their behalf.
